Trailer Hire
Our enclosed trailer is available to hire on a daily or weekend basis. The unladen weight of the trailer is 1300KG giving a carry weight of 2200KG

The trailer is fitted with an automated winch for pulling up to 2.5ton
The trailer tilts so that vehicles can be loaded easily, this is done automatically via a remote control.
Please ensure that your tow vehicle is adequte for the weight you will be towing. This is the vehicle weight you are carrying + the weight of the trailer. This can’not exceed 3500KG
In addition, to make towing easier it is fitted with a rear view camera and the monitor for the camera plugs into a 12volt socket in the car, this gives you always on rear view for either reversing or while in motion.
Tyre straps are also provided. A 15 minute walk round the trailer and familiarisation of the working of the various remote controls is provided before every hire begins.
A holding deposit of £500 payable on hire (refundable once trailer returned and no damage sustained) can be made via a credit card. We will require TWO forms of ID, Driving license being mandatory and a current utility bill.
Daily hire is £120 (No VAT) Weekend hire is £200 (Daily hire is 24hrs and weekend hire is 70hrs)
A locking tow ball lock is also provided, this locks the trailer onto the towing vehicle.
The hirer must have the relevant B+E entitlement to tow the trailer behind a tow vehicle.
It is encumbant on the hirer to tow the trailer in a careful and skilful manner and in accordance with all legal requirements.
THE HIRER IS FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPREHENSIVE INSURING OF THE TRAILER. REGARDLESS OF INSURANCE, THE HIRER IS FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING THE TRAILER IN THEIR OWN POSSESSION, DAMAGE FREE AND RETURNING THE TRAILER AS THEY FOUND IT.
The hirer is fully responsible for returning the trailer in a clean state, and in identical condition as when collected. A fee of £75 is payable where the trailer is returned in an unclean state. Weather conditions permitting for external.
The hirer shall report ANY accidents or collisions with stationary or mobile objects/vehicles to the owner within 8hrs of their occurance and any third party damage to the Police or other proper authority within the time prescribed by the law.
The hirer shall supply such information, drawings and assistance in connection with the accident as the owner or insurers may require.
Hire periods are normal working hours, should a trailer be delayed on return it is the responsibilty of the hirer to update the owner and any delay is subject to further charge and is at the owners discretion.
IT IS THE REPSONSIBILITY OF THE HIRER TO ENSURE THEY HAVE ADEQUATE RECOVERY FOR THE TRAILER SHOULD THE HIRER BE INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT AND WHERE THE TRAILER IS IMMOBILISED.
Any punctures or blow-outs are the responsibility of the hirer and charges will apply for damaged tyres etc.
Spare tyres/wheels are provided, but the means to change these is the sole responsibility of the hirer and the hirer accepts that changing wheels on busy carriageways is dangerous and should not be attempted by the inexperienced.
It is expressly forbidden to take the trailer out of mainland UK.
